Now there are of course many different ways that many different people from many different places will give in their opinion where the inspiration for Internet marketing truly came from. So, I will just tell you what I think.

Before Internet marketing existed or even before it was mainstream, there was direct mail, newsletters, radio and television. These were and still are many different avenues with which the consumers are able to get information about where and what a product can help them do and where it is available.

One place that comes to mind is the QVC television channel. This is a really great example of how you aren’t forced to buy anything. It’s simply a place where you can go to view whatever it is that they happen to be showing at the time and then you can decide whether or not you want to purchase that product or not.

There are so many different avenues for so many different people and that’s truly what makes our world a wonderfully and creatively colorful place. The Internet is starting to slowly creep up on radio and television streams in its own way to market to you what you’re looking for. It’s pretty amazing to know that you can virtually shop online for just about anything that you can think of without leaving home.
