Wal-Mart Challenges Best Buy Geek Squad

Posted by admin

The behemoth gargantuan of a company known famously as Wal-Mart has decided to go ahead and implement a new consumer electronics support service. It does not come with a “fancy” name like the Geek Squad has, but it will plan to serve you in your home with your purchases.

You could look at this a couple of different ways. You could be opposed to this type of a service because you may be the type of person who is always wondering if big brother is spying on you and cooking up a conspiracy to serve you. The other way is that you end up being happy as pumpkin pie that finally Wal-Mart is starting to shine the light a little brighter in the direction of your house and you’re just hoping that it comes with great customer service.

Shoppers there will be able to purchase a service plan from the store on a pre paid card ranging in the amounts of $99 – $399. This could be looked at as a great way to get many non computer users into the online world that may have other wise been too frightened to try it in their own. Should Best Buy start to worry about the ever growing giant moving in on one of their specialties?

Wal-Mart says it will use N.E.W. Customer Service Companies Inc. to begin to start this service up and going and should be at the ready this month which will also be in plenty of time for the up and coming Holiday season. Lets just watch and find out if your life isn’t just that much better by having someone come into your home to hook up all of the various items that you may want to use.
